7.29.08-Excuses, Excuses

It's been a dang busy month, man. My first month in a new apartment, having moved in with my girlfriend and endured a lot of the fun initial expenses (it really does surprise one how many little things you can forget from day to day life- like we only now have actual tissues for nose-blowing.) So, that's pretty much the big reason behind the spotty updates here. That and my work becoming increasingly demanding and exhausting. I've tried to keep two a week going over the past weeks, but I was just too wiped out yesterday from grocery shopping, sitting in a burning hot parking lot at a mechanic shop with no waiting area, then seeing The Dark Knight, which was awesome but also somewhat draining. Plus I missed part of the ending to use the bathroom. "For 25 cents more, you can get a large soda," MY ASS. The thing that sticks with me most was how utterly diabolical Ledger's Joker was, for once coming off like an actual threat. Even Nicholson's had some refinement and charisma to him, the Dark Knight Joker is just plain crazy.

Anyway. I'll be updating this week, don't worry, and I'm gonna keep going until at least the end of this chapter (which is near.) Afterwards, I think I may go for Plan B after another redesign. I've been reading a Wordpress guide and it's given me some helpful ideas that might let me arrange things in a more... comicky fashion. Sit tight.
